Bio
Daniel Nolan, a queer lens-based artist from Amarillo, currently lives in Houston Texas. He explores the world through the eyes of his own identity. Daniel’s current work focuses on the theatrics, lighting and beauty that saturates the performances of Houston’s drag shows. After being accepted into the Photography and Digital Media Block program at the University of Houston, he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. His work has shown in the Blaffer Museum’s Student showcase 2017. As well as the PDM 18 Pop Up Show 2017 at the Satellite, and in the Photo Student Collective Zine and Turf Show 2015. His short story, “Captain’s Folly” was published in The Hourglass Magazine in 2015.
